Apart from serving as a watch, displaying the time and date, this device provides real time positioning data..

CONTACTS

You will be able to enter a maximum of five numbers to be included in the contacts list on your watch.

CALLS

A call can be placed from the watch to the preregistered numbers in its contacts list.

SOS

This function allows you to select one or more numbers to be dialed upon pushing the SOS button.

LOCATOR

In case of misplacement of the device, this function will sound an alarm on the device to assist in locating it.

WEB TRACK

Accessing the platform Galileo WebTrack, via the search engine of your choosing, you are able to configue the device and all of its functions.

Frequently Asked Questions

To view the location of your tracking watch, you will need to enter into the platform Galileo Webtrack at www.gscs.es

In the USERNAME field enter your username. (this will normally be the email address entered on your service contract)

In the PASSWORD field enter the password provided to you in the welcome email.

 

For system security purposes, you will need to mark the box I AM NOT A ROBOT, and follow the security captcha instructions.

 

Then click LOGIN.

The will bring you to a map where you will be able to see the last registered location of your device.

First of all you will need to assure that the watch is turned on and has enough battery to function properly.

 

Next, make  sure that the watch is not inside of a building or garage that could impede its satellite connection.

Finally assure that the GSM and GPS signals appear as they do in the image below.

In the case that the signals appear correctly, refresh the platform page using the refresh button at the upper left of your screen, REFRESH THE APPLICATION.

 

In the case that the signals do not appear as they should, it is recommended e  to use the SOS button holding it down for one second, make sure to end the call by pressing the button. Also try turning off and restarting the device allowing 2 minutes to reboot.

If you are still unable to obtain the location of your device, please contact GALILEO via email.

You will be able to place a call to the tracking watch from any normal telephone by dialing the phone number provided in the welcome email. The phone number associated with your device can also be found in the EDIT CONFIGURATION section, in the section: GSM TEL

This function does not incur additional charges from GALILEO.

If you do not have the option available to place the call from your phone, but would like to receive a call from the watch you will need to click on DEVICES on our platform where you will see the image of a truck:

 

Here you will view a list of your devices, with all of there characteristics.

Then click the EDIT button that appears as a pencil.

Here you will find a CALL button:

In the box to the right, enter the number that you will like the device to call. Then click the SEND ON and enter your account password. This will facilitate the device to make a voice call to the number provided.

It is important to reenter the phone number into the device. The device will not receive call from any number that is not registered within it.

Remember that this function, along with all of those that require interaction with the device, consume a part of your SMS credits and the voice minute in accordance with the contracted service.

On our platform, enter the section DEVICES, you will see the image of a truck:

Here you will see a list of all of your devices, with all of their characteristics.

Then click the EDIT button, appearing as a pencil icon.

 Here you will find the LISTEN button:

In the box to the right, enter the number which you would like the device to call. Then click the SEND ON button and enter your account password.

This will permit the device to make a call to the number that we have entered. This call will be completely silent on the watch end. You will be able to listen to what is going on without the device emitting any sign that this is taking place.

It is important to reenter the phone number into the device. The device will not receive call from any number that is not registered within it.

Remember that this function, along with all of those that require interaction with the device, consume a part of your SMS credits and the voice minute in accordance with the contracted service.

In order to place a call from the watch to a preregistered contact, press the CONTACTS button. Your contact numbers will be displayed. Using the same button, scroll through the contacts until you come upon the contact you would like to call. Again using the same button, holding it down for  seconds, your call is placed.

To end the call, press the ON/OFF button.

To answer an incoming call, press the ON/OFF button.

To send out an SOS alert from the tracking watch to the preregistered number, simply push the SOS button on your device, holding it down for 3 seconds

If only one number has been registered, that number will be called. If more than one are registered, when the SOS function is activated the device will dial the first number and if that call is not answered it will dial the remaining numbers.

To initiate the SOS call, hold down the SOS button for 3 seconds.

To end a call, simply press the ON/OFF button.

To view the route taken by the tracking watch on a given day, detailing stops and speed, you will need to enter the HISTORY section on our platform Galileo Webtrack.

Here you will be able to view the route taken by your device on a selected date. 

You will see the option FOLLOW ON/OFF

To follow the route being taken by your device in real time, hover your mouse over the devices image on the platform and click the secondary button (normally right click).

The map will with the movement of your device facilitating it to be followed.

To start, enter the ALERTS tab at the top left of your starting page.

 

You will first see your list of alerts.

Configure a zone or speed using the following form.

This form varies slightly depending on the type of alert being entered. That being said there are certain aspects that remain the same regardless of alert type.

Name, description and email. The ultimate field indicates the email where you would like to receive alert notifications corresponding to the alert being created.

On the editing page, once the alert the alert is created you can establish time filters (times and days of the week) for when the alert is activate.

 Types of Alerts:

 

The option to be notified by email does not use credits. The option of notification via SMS does consume credits. Additional costs may apply in accordance with your contract.

Zone alerts will notify you when the device enters or leave a designated area.

Steps to create a zone alert:

  1. Select the color with which the zone is to be marked on the map.
  2. Press the TRACE button. A new tool bar will appear over the map to the right of the existing lateral bar, with which you will be able to draw the zone.
  3. Minimize the alert window in order to draw on the map.
  4. Select the shape of the zone you would like to draw. Circle, square, or polygon.
  5. When the zone has been drawn, accept or cancel with the corresponding buttons. 
  6.  Select the alarm mode, upon entry, upon exit or upon  entry/exit.

You will be able to mark a safe zone on the mape and the device will notify you of  the entry or exit of that zone via email or SMS.

The option to receive notifications via email does not consume credits. The option to receive notifications by SMS does use credits. Additional cost may apply in accordance to your contract.

Finally assign the alert to the tracking watch desired.

The speed alert will notify you when the device is travelling at a faster rate than that of the limit which you have set.

Using the VELOCITY tab you can select the speed limit of your choosing.

The option to receive notifications via email does not consume credits. The option to receive notifications by SMS does consume credits. Additional cost may apply in accordance with your contract.

Finally you will need to assign the alert to the device to which you wish it to be applied.

La opción de aviso por correo electrónico no conlleva recargo alguno. En cambio el envío por SMS conlleva consumo de créditos. Por lo tanto puede ocasionar un coste adicional según contrato.

Finalmente debemos asignar la alerta al reloj localizador que deseemos.

To change the map view on the tracking platform Galileo Webtrack, click the MAP TYPE button on the top bar on your start up page.

A list will appear where you can choose from various options, the best map to suit your needs. Remember that certain maps load with more difficulty than others.

   

 

To check the battery level of a device you can look at the start screen on your device.

The battery level can also be checked on the tracking platform Galileo Webtrack positioning the mouse over the devices icon.

To charge the device’s battery, simply connect the device using the usb charger included with your watch.

You will need to enter the DEVICES section on our platform, you will see a truck icon.

Here you will be able to see a list of your tracking device with all of their characteristics.

 

Then, select the EDIT button using the pencil shaped icon.

Here you will find CHANGE CONTACTS.

Enter numbers in the box to the right in the order which you would like them to appear on the device, without spaces and separated by comas. Then, click SEND ON and enter your account password.

Remember that this function, along with all those which require interaction with your devices, will consume a part of your SMS credit and can incur additional charges as specified in your contract.

If all of your monthly SMS credits, needed for interaction with your tracking watch, have been used and you need more before your monthly replenishment, select the CREDITS tab found in the upper right of the platform page.

You will be brought to a screen where you will be able to see your available credits and how many you have used. You will also have the option to add credits.

Remember that this function may incur additional costs in accordance with the established prices specified in your contract.

You can use credits to modify configuration, change contact numbers or change the numbers to be dialed in the case of SOS activation.

These credits can also be used to receive alerts via SMS.

 

On our platform, enter the section DEVICES, you will see the image of a truck:

Here you will see a list of all of your devices, with all of their characteristics.

Then click the EDIT button, appearing as a pencil icon.

 

Here you will find a tab in which you can select a time zone.

Simply select the time zone and enter your account tranfer.

Remember that this function, along with all of those that require interaction with the device, consume a part of your SMS credits and the voice minute in accordance with the contracted service.

Start by entered your username into the USERNAME box on the start page of the Galileo Webtrack platform. If you have forgotten your username you can reference back to your welcome email.

Then click, FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD?

You will automatically be sent an email with a link in which you will be able to create a new password.
